Recessed Lighting Installation in Osseo, MI

Recessed Lighting Installation for Osseo homes and businesses

Osseo is in Hillsdale County in Mid-Michigan, where the housing mix runs from farmhouses and mid-century ranches to student rentals and new subdivisions. Each has its own typical electrical problems. For recessed lighting installation in Osseo, we begin with the panel and service, since that is where most limitations show up.

Getting recessed lighting right

The difference between a good recessed lighting job and a poor one is layout. Too few lights leave scallops and shadows. Too many make a ceiling look like an airport runway. As a starting point we space fixtures at about half the ceiling height, then adjust for cabinets, beams and seating. In Osseo homes with attics above, we use airtight fixtures so heated air is not lost through the ceiling in winter.
